DOE Seeking Comments on Proposed Rule – The National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) has been meeting with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to discuss the role of and impact that fenestration can have on a building’s energy efficiency and energy use. Among the topics discussed has been how fenestration products can impact manufactured housing.  In a new Proposed Rule titled “Energy Conservation Standards for Manufactured Housing,” the DOE requests public comment, providing an opportunity for the fenestration industry to add their comments and concerns to the requirements being proposed.  Read More at NFRC >
