The American Forest and Paper Association (AF&PA) is asking stakeholders to contact their respective members of Congress and urge them to sign a bipartisan letter addressed to the EPA, DOE and USDA “in support of biomass energy as a sustainable, responsible, renewable, and economically significant energy source.” As you know, residue from paper and wood products mills are used to produce energy “that provides significant carbon reducing benefits,” states AF&PA.
