Housing Wire’s Trey Garrison reports that the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Mortgage Choice Act (H.R. 685) today by a bipartisan vote of 286-140.  The Mortgage Choice Act of 2015 would modify and clarify the definition for qualified mortgage in the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Actto improve access to credit and qualified mortgages for low and moderate income borrowers while protecting consumers from bad loans.  Read More at Housing Wire
