Survey: Nearly Half of Homeowners Plan to Renovate
Nearly half of homeowners (48%) plan to renovate their homes in the next two years, and a third of those homeowners expect to spend more than $50,000 on their renovations, according to recent research from TD Bank. Read more at Builder

Ohio Board of Building Standards Presents 2019 RCO and Energy Training
The Board of Building Standards adopted an update to the Residential Code of Ohio (RCO) based on the 2018 International Residential Code with Ohio changes effective July 1 including adoption of the 2018 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) for 1-, 2-, and 3-Family Dwellings. The board has again partnered with the International Code Council (ICC) and SEOBD to present additional local in-person training on the new residential and energy codes. OSHA Issues Standards Improvement Final Rule
A catch-all rule making changes in several regulations was issued by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) as part of its ongoing Standards Improvement Project (SIP). Going into effect July 15, the updated regulations generally simplify employer efforts both in complying with the agency’s requirements along with determining how to achieve that compliance.
