NAHBNow reports that the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) is considering reducing the cap on the pending overtime salary threshold rate hike from $50,440 to $47,000.  This is still a 99% increase from the current overtime salary limit of $23,660.  NAHB Chairman Ed Brady issued an official statement in response to the plan, stating that “this proposal is a token effort at best” and is “unacceptable to America’s small businesses.”  Read More at NAHB >
