The Securities and Exchange Commission has extended the public comment period on the proposed rulemaking to enhance and standardize climate related disclosures until June 17, 2022. Specifically, these proposed amendments would require companies to provide certain ESG information in their registration statements and annual reports.
The National Association of Homebuilders reports that the Department of Homeland Security announced last week that an additional 35,000 H-2B temporary nonagricultural worker visas will be available during the second half of fiscal year 2022. These visas are for U.S. employers seeking to employ additional workers on or after April 1, 2022 through September 30, 2022.

Last week the Colorado House voted to adopt the state’s Senate’s amendments to House Bill 22-1362.
