Ubiquitous Looks to Gain Final Steam Through DOE Funding

A next generation window technology could gain momentum toward deployment, as Ubiquitous Energy recently reported that it has been invited to submit a secondary application for the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Title XVII Loan Guarantee Program for its transparent solar coating that can be applied to window and door glass, turning them into a source of electricity.

Standard Will Assess Carbon Across Whole Building Life Cycle

ASHRAE and the International Code Council are developing a standard to assess carbon emissions across the entire building life cycle. The proposed ASHRAE/ICC Standard 240P – Evaluating Greenhouse Gas (GHG) and Carbon Emissions in Building Design, Construction and Operation, establishes how to measure and verify GHG and carbon emissions of a building, or group of buildings, over the entire life cycle.

Biden Announces Executive Actions on Resilient Infrastructure, Offshore Wind
