Pre-registration for the 2023 WMA Millwork Convention & Tradeshow ends October 6, 2023. Thereafter, attendees will need to register onsite starting October 22, 2023, at the WMA registration desk located at the Kentucky International Convention Center, Hall B, in Louisville, KY.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FLORIDA (September 12, 2023) – World Millwork Alliance (WMA), a nonprofit global trade organization servicing the millwork industry, has named Edward Galt Steves and Sam Bell Steves II as the recipients of the 2023 Ron Taylor Award of Integrity and Commitment. Edward Galt Steves is CEO and Sam Bell Steves II is president of Steves & Sons, Inc., headquartered in San Antonio, Texas.

Distributor home office primary contacts were sent an email from World Millwork Alliance on July 31, 2023, to vote on a temporary amendment to the WMA Bylaws to extend the current Associate Vice Chairman term for one additional year through 2024 to maintain continuity and participation in the strategic planning process.

It is with a heavy heart and much sadness that World Millwork Alliance informs the WMA membership that Victor Adami has passed away. Victor was Vice President of Adami S/A Madeiras, a WMA member since 2015.

New Port Richey, Florida (January 27, 2023) – World Millwork Alliance (WMA), will hold its 2023 Annual Convention & Tradeshow, in Louisville, Kentucky, marking the organization’s 58th annual event. The WMA 2023 millwork event will be held Monday, October 23rd through Wednesday, October 25th in downtown Louisville.

The annual event was originally sited for Indianapolis; however, due to ongoing issues with the venues and in the best interest of the event and its members, WMA will bring its event to the city of Louisville, Kentucky. Louisville has exceptional facilities at the Kentucky International Convention Center and Marriott Louisville Downtown is conveniently connected to the convention center. The Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport is easily accessible for U.S. and abroad travelers.

Details on exhibiting will be released mid-February. As show information becomes available, it will be posted on the WMA website, worldmillworkalliance.com.

World Millwork Alliance Headquarters will be closed for the holidays from December 26 – January 2 and will reopen January 3, 2023.

(New Port Richey, Florida) World Millwork Alliance (WMA) is grateful to have weathered the ravages of Hurricane Ian that hit the southwest coast of Florida last week as a Category 4 storm with sustained winds of 150 mph and causing catastrophic flooding from the storm surge and heavy rains. Many people have lost their homes, have had their health compromised, and are suffering from traumatic stress. Less than 20% of homeowners have flood insurance and there were over 80,000 homes damaged by the storm.
